What Does It Take To Be GREAT?

We live in an era that everyone strives for greatness. Today we focus on what great really is and how it can be achieved.

Greatness is for me a state of mind that summarises a superior level of pride and fulfilment for an individual in every extend of its life. #Happiness likewise, but more on that later on. With that in mind, here’s how you can be the greatest version of yourself:

1. Confidence: This is the most important part of achieving greatness. How you reflect yourself internally has an immediate correlation of how others perceive you. Believing that you’re so great in the first place is the single best thing you can do! Give yourself a pat on the back. You’re alive and that alone is a miracle. You have a roof over your head, you’re a minority. From here on, everything is achievable!
2. Health: I hope that it goes without saying, but to be great, you must be healthy. Inside and outside. Facing a difficulty, sort it out, either by yourself or with a professional. You want to gain or lose weight, do it! Anything is doable. Don’t neglect yourself and sleep. Be an early bird is far superior than staying up all night.
3. Work: The only factor that determines if you’re going to exploit every ounce of this miracle you’re living and how great you can be! Be humble to learn and loyal enough to succeed by starting at zero! Have the self-discipline to deploy patience day-in and day-out and see how this plays out. Resources and the lessons you learn by doing rather than sitting still are far more important than anything else. You can work far more than you’ve ever imagined. Work one or two jobs and simultaneously take on your side-hustle. Do you want greatness? That’s how you get it!
4. Patience: No matter how good or not things are going for you right now, have in mind that everything is going to change pretty soon. And by saying so, I don’t mean NOW. Deploy patience, lots of it! Do what you love or work at something else until you can proudly do so, but in the meantime know that nothing ‘’good’’ is going to happen for the next few years. You’re entitled to nothing! You have to earn every single thing! Live by that and let time show you the way.
5. YOLO: Just what it means. You will die! Make it count. Live your life like you mean it. Live, laugh, love, play and BE YOU. So many of us live like they’re going to do it all over again. If you treat others with empathy, understand their perspective and be kind to everyone, you’ll be happier.
And above everything else, just live!

You want to be great? Start now, thank yourself later!
